A Plug for a Great Brewery

Been kind of busy, and really want to talk about this beer. So a quick life parallel and plug and I'll be off. Went to a good friend's birthday celebration on a beautifully isolated farm in the middle of Indiana. Super time, great people, and some
tasty beers. There was even a mini keg of Mai Bock from Einbecker. I brought a few choice selections and a bottle of rye for my friend. The rye was from Iowa and was delicious, try some and you won't be disappointed. The distiller is called Templeton. But this is a beer blog not a bourbon blog, although bourbon is very delicious, or in this case rye whiskey is crazy delicious.
One beer I picked for the occasion was
O'Fallon Five Day IPA.
"We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days!Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA! (Currently available on draught only!)"
This is the kind of description that gets me all excited, and boy did they come through. It is a happy hoppy beer, on par with a 2 hearted or hop otten. Just smooth as hell, and simply delicious on both the nose and mouth. I met these guys at the glunz beer tasting, and they are super cool, and this certainly comes out in their finished product. I have also enjoyed their Blackberry Scottish Ale, which is way better then it sounds. Just wish these guys would start sending some kegs our way in Chicago.

Cheers!!!!!
